Safeguarding employees best interest and meeting the highest health standards possible, is GIG’s main priority when it comes to ensuring a healthy work environment. As per this strategy in offering its employees the best working environment, GIG-Jordan’s human resources department organized together with the company’s medical network department a free medical day for its employees.

This open medical day is one of the many initiatives the company has made throughout the years. The initiative took place during the period 4-5/9/2018 at Shami Eye Center, and

is fortified by the company’s close relationship with Shami Eye Center as their partners in the path towards success.

As a result, gig-Jordan employees received overall medical check-ups and services. The check-ups were conducted by expert eye specialists at Shami Eye Centre with the aid of the latest high-tech equipment.  All the employees underwent a comprehensive eye examination that entailed a thorough examination of the front and back retina and optic nerve.

Based on the medical evaluations of the examined cases, some acute cases have been referred to Shami Eye center for further care.
