Gulf Insurance Group/Jordan, a duly registered public listed shareholding company in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, holding national number (200001238) (“we”, “our”, “us”, “GIG/Jordan”), is dedicated to providing insurance services. We operate the website located at (https://www.gig.com.jo) and other products, services, and mobile applications with links to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), including without limitation the GIG‑Jordan Application (collectively, the “Site(s)”, “Website(s)”, “Online Channels”, and/or “App(s)”, unless otherwise specified). Users of the Sites and/or our customers of our Online Channels/purchasers of Insurance Policies are referred to below as “Users”, “Customer(s)”, “you”, “your”, or “yours” as the case may be.
Definitions
Content: means any text, graphics, audio, video, software, data, and/or any other form of information that appears on our Online Channels.
Online Channels: means any of our selling channels including our website, mobile application, or any other channel approved by us officially.
Insurance Policy: means any insurance policy issued by us electronically through our Online Channels, including medical, travel, motor, domestic or home assistance, or property insurance policies.
Intellectual Property: includes, without limitation, inventions, discoveries, designs, know‑how, processes, business methods, patents, trademarks, copyrights, computer software, ideas, creations, writings, photographs, and motion pictures, whether in hard copy or electronic form.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions and Modifications
By using our Website(s), App(s), and Online Channels, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other published policies. This agreement is legally binding. If you do not accept any part of these Terms, do not use our Online Channels or purchase Insurance Policies through them.
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and other policies at any time. It is your responsibility to review the most current version. Your continued use of our Online Channels after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
When visiting or using the Website, your information will be processed by GIG/Jordan for the purposes stated in the Privacy Policy, where applicable and legally permissible.
Our Services through the Website(s)
Through our Online Channels, we are honored to offer the issuance of Insurance Policies digitally, including but not limited to medical, travel, motor, domestic or home assistance, property insurance policies, medical claims processing, and/or any other services as GIG/Jordan finds adequate (“Insurance Services”), subject to these Terms and Conditions, GIG/Jordan’s internal policies, and the relevant Insurance Policy wording.
Some Insurance Services may be modified, added, removed, suspended, or omitted for all, some, or individual Customers at our sole discretion.
We also reserve the right to reject any order to purchase an Insurance Policy, refuse renewal, limit coverage, or differentiate in pricing, terms, or benefits if justified by technical or actuarial reasons, previous experience, or other valid grounds.
The terms and conditions of each Insurance Policy shall govern its termination or amendment.
If any marketing campaign is conducted through the Online Channels, your continued use constitutes acceptance of that campaign’s terms. We may modify, suspend, or terminate such campaigns at any time without liability.
Submitting Applications and Account Registration
To use some of our services, including insurance services, you must submit an order and/or register on our Website(s)/App and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
You must be of legal age to enter into a contract. If you are not legally able to do so, you must obtain parental permission. If you are under 18, some services may not be available without parental involvement and confirmation.
Representations and Warranties
By using our Online Channels, you represent and warrant that:
- All personal information you provide is true, accurate, complete, and correct.

- Incomplete or incorrect payments will result in automatic cancellation of your order without notice.
- Payment terms are subject to the Insurance Policy terms, including refund rules.
- Prices may be changed or modified at any time.
- Fees and taxes imposed by regulatory authorities may apply.
- Payments through third‑party providers are subject to their terms and conditions.
User Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts for security reasons.
Anti‑Money Laundering and KYC
We comply with applicable AML laws in Jordan. Suspicious activity may be reported to relevant authorities, and contractual relationships may be terminated.
All personal information provided for KYC purposes must be accurate, true, and complete.
User Behavior
You must use the Website(s) and/or App responsibly and not engage in unlawful, offensive, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise prohibited conduct.
You may not:
- Promote or sell Insurance Policies to third parties without written approval.
- Misuse the Online Channels or issued Policies.
- Access the Website/App in a way that causes damage or violates laws.
- Impersonate others or provide false information.
- Use automated tools to access our systems.
- Use another person’s login credentials.
Third‑Party Services and Links
We do not endorse or guarantee third‑party services. You access third‑party websites at your own risk.
Mobile Features
Standard data/messaging fees may apply. You are responsible for keeping your device and App updated.
Mandatory Removal
Any violation may result in immediate termination of access.
Intellectual Property
No trademarks, logos, content, or materials may be used, copied, reproduced, or distributed without our prior written permission.
Confidentiality
Your personal data will remain confidential and will not be disclosed except as required by law, business needs, service provision, legal cases, or with your consent.
Data Privacy

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any disputes shall be resolved through the Central Court of Amman (Palace of Justice), Jordan.

General Provisions
