gig – Jordan is keen on spreading awareness among its employees about the role of the Internal Audit Department in protecting and developing the companys operations. As a reason, the Internal Audit Department, represented by Mr. Ahmed Isbahe- Senior Manager, held a series of training sessions for employees during the period from 3 to12 December 2017, in coordination with the Human Resources Department. During the sessions, a number of topics were discussed to clarify the positioning of the Internal Audit Department in the organizational structure of the company and how important it is to prevent errors, fraud and violation of instructions. The sessions also highlighted the duties of the department and responsibilities that should not be carried out by the departments employees basically related to the companys operations in order to avoid violating the independence of auditors and thus affect the results of auditing operations. The event was attended by all the companys employees from different job titles and branches employees. Another session was held in Aqaba City on 28/12/2017 by Mr. Fahmi Waddah Abdel Hadi – Senior Officer – Internal Audit Department. It is also planned to hold another session in the company branch in Irbid city soon to benefit all employees equally.
