Dear Friends and Business Partners,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of GIG - Jordan, I am very delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Ali Al Wazani as our Chief Executive Officer, effective 27/2/2018.

Dr. Ali is a familiar face to many. Through his current role as the Chairman of Jordan Insurance Federation, and his previous positions as the Chairman of Jordan Association for Medical Insurance and a market representative in many technical committees in Jordan, he has been always connected to the industry and committed to its development

He has served as a Board Member in more than one Insurance Company in Jordan, Bahrain, and Saudi and he is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Science and Literature Collage (UNRWA). During the last ten years he served as the CEO of Solidarity – Jordan and has built a proven track record of success and accomplishment. Prior to joining Solidarity, Dr. Ali was a crucial element and a dedicated executive with Arab Orient Insurance Company as a deputy General Manager back in the year 2000 until 2008.

In addition to his professional certification being an Associate- Chartered Insurer (ACII), Dr. Ali holds the PhD degree in Marketing, MBA degree, and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ali has demonstrated the ability to work successfully in different environments, designing and leading strategies which resulted in impressive value creation. He brings with him a unique mix of collaborative leadership, inspiration, operational experience, technical know-how, and passion to service excellence.

Dr. Ali will work hand in hand with the Board of Directors, the management team and all our business partners in leading the organization forward. We look forward to working closely with him to create a new chapter of success that gig - Jordan deserves.
