Following to gig\'s vision in developing the internal controls, the internal audit department, headed by Mr. Mohammad Ibrahim, held the company\'s annual internal audit conference from 24-27/9/2018 in Amman. gig -Jordan\'s CEO, Dr. Ali Al Wazani, inaugurated the conference by giving an opening speech in which he expressed how pleased he is about hosting this conference in Jordan. Moreover, Dr. Wazani assured the importance of supporting the automation of internal operations and systems by developing the digital vision of the group\'s companies. He also highlighted the role internal audit has as one of the supervision\'s three lines of defense. He added that supervision is a responsibility by all and that it is necessary to further develop the regulatory controls in all operations. As a result, this development will surely aid gig in facing all challenges, and enable it to reach the highest standards, and thus assist gig\'s companies in achieving the sought after results expected in the insurance sector. The conference was attended by several audit department representatives from some of the group\'s companies in Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, and Turkey.
