An agreement was signed to renew the medical insurance contract between Gulf Insurance Group – Jordan (GIG – Jordan) and the Amman Chamber of Commerce, under which integrated medical insurance protection is provided for the merchants who are members of the Chamber, their employees, and their families.

The agreement was signed last week at the Amman Chamber of Commerce headquarters in the presence of Mr. Khalil Al Haj Tawfiq, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Ali Al-Wazaney, CEO of Gulf Insurance Group – Jordan, in addition to a number of members of the executive management from both parties.

This step confirms the depth of the strategic partnership between the two parties, which aims to provide the highest levels of medical insurance protection to the merchants, members of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, their employees, and their families. The level of medical coverage under the contract has been raised, and the benefits provided to subscribers have been increased.

Mr. Khalil Al Haj Tawfiq emphasized that the renewal of this partnership with GIG – Jordan reflects the Chamber’s keenness to provide the highest levels of insurance coverage for traders, in a step to empower this vital sector and strengthen its role in serving the national economy.

For his part, Dr. Ali Al-Wazaney, CEO of GIG – Jordan, stressed the importance of renewing this partnership and valued the role played by the Amman Chamber of Commerce in protecting this important sector, especially in light of current challenges.
