GIG Jordan hosted a seminar on “Cyber Insurance” in November 2019, attended by corporate clients, banks, financial institutions, telecommunications companies, and brokers.

To conduct the seminar, GIG Jordan invited underwriters from Ms. CHUBB and Mr. Syed Adil, Executive Technical Manager (Iraq Operations & Group Regional Business Development).

Mr. Adil provided an overview of GIG Group and GIG Jordan, emphasizing the importance of cyber insurance, its impact on companies, and the solutions offered by GIG Group across the 11 countries in which it operates.

Underwriters from CHUBB delivered an in-depth presentation on cyber insurance, covering topics such as coverage, exclusions, proposal forms, underwriting approaches, and the current market situation.

The full-day interactive seminar was well received by the audience, reflecting the growing interest in cyber insurance and its role in protecting businesses against evolving digital risks.
