The Aqaba Chamber of Commerce and GIG Jordan have signed a medical insurance agreement for the Chamber’s member merchants, guaranteeing medical coverage for the merchants, their families, and their employees.

The agreement was attended on behalf of the Aqaba Chamber of Commerce by Mr. Nael Al-Kabariti, Chairman of the Chamber; Mr. Suleiman Dandis, Executive Director of the Medical Insurance Department; and Mr. Muhammad Subuh, Executive Director of the Indirect Business Department and Branches.

In his speech during the signing ceremony, Mr. Nael Al-Kabariti emphasized that providing medical insurance for all merchants and their families is a priority for the Chamber of Commerce. He noted that health issues are among the most pressing concerns for citizens and merchants today, and explained that participation in the Chamber’s health insurance program will be available to all member merchants under conditions that are applicable, accessible, and tailored to their financial and health circumstances.

Al-Kabariti further confirmed that the Aqaba Chamber of Commerce is working to protect traders in all respects, highlighting that medical protection is a top priority in the current circumstances. He added that the selection of GIG Jordan was based on the company’s ability to provide comprehensive insurance coverage to all traders.

For his part, Mr. Suleiman Dandis affirmed that GIG Jordan is committed to providing the best medical insurance services to the Chamber’s member traders. He explained that the agreement guarantees comprehensive insurance both inside and outside hospitals, with exceptional privileges, through a medical network that includes leading healthcare providers at preferential prices.
